Services

The demand for Axis’ services developed as a result of the data generated by the ACA’s mandate for electronic medical records (EMR) usage. An increase in EMR usage has yielded a large collection of both Clinical and Administrative Data from health systems. As a result, there are opportunities surrounding data and business analytics utilizing this data.
Clinical Data
Data surrounding patient health and physical information (eg: blood pressure, white blood cell count, sodium levels, etc.)
 Administrative Data
Data surrounding health system operations and processes throughout its many departments
Axis will provide new technologies to capture, clean, and warehouse data. In addition, Axis will analyze this data so as to provide guidance, implementation, and execution strategies to improve system processes and operations. The final results are integrated into the website or presented as a dashboard function.
The Clinical Data Analytics platform attempts to understand the current data structures within the framework of the healthcare systems clinical database. Using teams of physicians, database managers, and data scientists, a comprehensive model will be created to recommend the best possible outcome given the data provided by the existing healthcare system. Once the model is established, data scrubbing, enterprise data warehousing, and analytics can be established for continuous growth and profitability.

The Administrative Data Analytics platform identifies trends and forms predictive models to indicate patient satisfaction, patient retention, continuum of care classification, patient navigation and other attributes that indicate the patient's position within the Critically Integrated Network (CIN). As the data system’s non-clinical data is migrated to a patient specific conformance system, robust tools are created for healthcare administrative teams to shepherd patient populations to meet CIN requirements
Successful ACA CINs realize new reimbursement packages from the healthcare insurance industry. These reimbursement packages will restructure the financial flows throughout healthcare systems and the healthcare industry. As physician compensation moves from a Relative Value Unit (RVU) based system to a quality based system, new pricing strategies will have to be developed and implemented that integrate the CIN benchmarking into practice within specific business models
