The Jewish Hospital at Mercy Health

The Jewish Hospital's recent expansion has increased the amount of patients treated in the Emergency Department.  This expansion provided an opportunity for multiple new process improvements.  Axis Health Innovations developed an in-depth time/cost analysis of the methods used at The Jewish Hospital to test patient tissue samples in the Emergency Department.  Axis applied Six Sigma analysis and data analytics showing significant cost savings could be realized through improved process and procedures. These processes and procedures are used to order, administer, and review the various tests that provide the data necessary for continued excellence in patient care at The Jewish Hospital.

The Christ Hospital Systems

The Christ Hospital's Cardiovascular Unit is consistently at the top of the nation’s best performing cardiovascular hospitals.[1]  Axis Health Innovation’s comprehensive Dual Predictive Analytic Model and their Six Sigma analysis provided a pathway for significant cost reduction and compelling increases in revenue cycle.  This partnership analyzed over a thousand cases to provide an in depth understanding of the operational performance of the cardiovascular unit and TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedure on low risk stenosis patients[2].  The Christ Hospital has by far the greatest experience in TAVR in the region and is a true leader in healthcare services.
