Russ Rhodus
Russ Rhodus is the President and Board Chair. He is accomplished at professional development and leading people to the successful completion of mission objectives. He is strong at taking projects from concept through delivery. He has worked as a consultant for The Center for Addiction Treatment, The Prospect House and OARS (Oconee Addiction & Recovery Services); Russ has his MBA from Xavier University with a concentration in Data Analytics and his B.S. degree in Operations Management from Wright State University.
John McLellan
John McLellan is the CEO of Harris House. He served as Executive Director of The Prospect House, Southwest Ohio’s leading long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment center for men. John has strong leadership skills and financial management experience. John has a Master's in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati and serves as the Treasurer on the Legacy Home of Recovery’s Board.
trina brown
Trina holds a BA in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University. Over a distinguished career, she served as a school psychologist; evaluated emergency and hospital units; worked in a domestic violence shelter; supported individuals with developmental disabilities; and provided expert witness testimony for sexual assault victims. Now retired, Trina is an active member of both recovery and faith communities. As a wife of 50 years, parent, and grandparent, she brings not only professional expertise but a personal understanding of resilience and service to our board.
Karyn M. Dyehouse
Karyn M. Dyehouse, MD, is a physician specializing in medical oncology and hematology at the Prisma Health Cancer Institute. She provides general hematology and medical oncology with an emphasis on solid tumors such as breast, colon and lung cancer. Prior to her work at the Prisma Health Cancer Institute, she served as the Chief Medical Officer at Oncology Hematology Care in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Marc Birtwistle
Marc Birtwistle is a professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at Clemson University. He received his bachelor's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (2003) and his Ph.D. from the University of Delaware (2008). He had postdoctoral training in cell and molecular biology at the Beatson Institute for cancer research and University College Dublin (2011).
JONATHAN HOLDER
Jonathan Holder is a business owner whose work is rooted in long-term thinking, accountability, and creating environments where people can thrive. He earned a B.S. in Economics from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. As the owner of a residential homebuilding and remodeling company, his career has centered on bringing together skilled tradesmen, professional clients, and suppliers—often serving as the midpoint that aligns expectations, translates needs, and builds systems that allow all parties to work toward shared outcomes. Over his career, he has directly managed the completion of more than $25 million in homes and remodels.
Jonathan has supported The Legacy Home since its earliest days through a shared belief in the power of structure, purpose, and community in long-term recovery. He has hired program participants and seeks to support both professional growth and personal responsibility as men transition into stable work and healthier routines. His involvement on the board reflects a commitment to living out his Christian faith through practical, hands-on service—helping create pathways where men can move from recovery into sustainable, meaningful lives, with the conviction that such restoration produces benefits that extend well beyond the individual.
